Choose your wiki's address

Coming soon

Choosing the address is your action, never the agent’s.

Each wiki has its own address, chosen by you and linked to your game. It is the first thing to do in the Wiki section: until an address is reserved, the app shows “No address yet,” and a publishing request replies “Choose an address first.”

You do not need a draft to reserve. You can take the name first and start the agent later.

  1. Open your project, then the Community tab and the Wiki section.

  2. To the right of the Wiki status line, type the name you want in the field that shows my-game, followed by .wiki-vibe.com. The Reserve button stays grayed out until the name is valid: see What a name accepts.

  3. Click Reserve. The app checks the name. If it is taken or reserved, it replies “This address is unavailable.” If the game already has an address, it replies “This game already has an address. Reload the wiki.”

  4. If the name is free, a confirmation opens right away, with the full address. It reminds you that the address cannot be renamed or transferred. Click

Reserve a second time. Two checks then run before the reservation: the meaning of the name, then how closely it matches your game’s name on Roblox. This step can take a few seconds.

  5. If the name looks like the game’s name, the address is reserved: it appears under Address, the first item in the status line, and the connection starts on its own. Otherwise, nothing is reserved and the request waits for our team to approve it: see The address must look like the game’s name.

The address must look like the game’s name

Section titled “The address must look like the game’s name”

The address is compared with your game’s name as Roblox shows it. Capital letters, accents, spaces, hyphens, and punctuation do not count, nor does anything the game’s name has in square brackets or parentheses, nor the word wiki at the start or end of the address.

Pirate Cove pirate-cove-guide Reserved right away: the name and a word

A one-character typo also passes. An abbreviation, a nickname for the game, or a translation do not look like the name: they are not refused, they wait for someone on our team to approve them.

While it waits:

  • The address is not reserved. Another game whose name looks like it can take it in the meantime.
  • If it is approved, it is reserved for your game, with no new request from you, and the connection starts.
  • If it is refused, no email is sent: you choose another address, close to the game’s name.

If your game’s name cannot be read on Roblox at that moment, nothing is reserved or put on hold: try again a few minutes later.

  • 3 to 63 characters, only unaccented letters, numbers, and hyphens.
  • No hyphen at the beginning or the end.
  • Capital letters are turned into lowercase, and spaces around the name are removed: MyGame becomes mygame.
  • A few technical names are reserved and refused, such as www, admin, api, support, wiki, or vibestarter.
  • One game, one address. The same name cannot serve two games, and a game cannot have two addresses.

The app builds the full address and shows it to you before you confirm. Once the wiki is published, it is also listed in the public wiki directory, wiki-vibe.com.

Availability only tells you that the name is free. Reservation also checks that the name contains no prohibited content and does not try to mislead players: insults, hate, sexual content, or imitation of an official login or payment service. A fan game or fan wiki name is not refused just because it mentions a brand.

Any doubt blocks the reservation. If the check is unavailable, no name is reserved: try again later. Name checks are limited to ten per 24 hours per account, refusals included; if that limit is reached, the app asks you to wait. The whole service is also limited to one hundred name checks per 24 hours, all accounts combined: a request can therefore be refused even though you have not used yours.

An existing address is also checked before a new publication. If it is refused even though it is already reserved, contact support@vibestarter.pro: there is no automatic renaming.

Reserving a name puts nothing online: it only assigns you the address. The technical connection is then made without any action on your part: you have no DNS to set up, no certificate to request, and no provider to contact.

The status is shown under the wiki status line:

What you see What it means
“Address hookup queued” The request is taken, and the work has not started yet.
“Address hookup in progress” The connection is being made.
“Address hookup retried automatically” A step failed; the app retries on its own, at increasing intervals.
“Address hooked up” It is ready: the publish button can appear.
“Address hookup blocked: our team has to step in” It will not unblock on its own. Write to support@vibestarter.pro.

Automatic retries space out with each attempt, from a few dozen seconds to half an hour. There is nothing to click during that time: you can start the agent and prepare your content; publishing will wait until the address is connected.

Can I reserve the address before I have a draft? Yes. The field is active as soon as you open the Wiki section, and reserving does not wait for any content.

Can the agent choose the name for me? No. Address reservation is not a tool the agent has: it is an action you take yourself in the app.

I reserved it, but the address does not respond in my browser. This is normal as long as nothing is published. A reserved address is not a live site: a version has to be checked, then published. See Publish and update.

I chose the wrong name. No button fixes it. Write to support@vibestarter.pro, explaining which game is concerned and the name you wanted.

The address I want is already taken. It belongs to another game as long as its wiki exists. It only becomes free again if that wiki is deleted, 90 days after Community ends for that game. It is then available to everyone again, on the same terms: looking like the name of the game that requests it.

What happens to my address if I stop Community? It stays with your game for 90 days, with the wiki offline. If you resume Community within that time, you get it back with your wiki. Otherwise it is deleted with the wiki and becomes free again. See When Community ends.
