Frequently asked questions

These are the questions customers ask most often. Each answer fits in a few sentences and points to the page that gives the details. The prices quoted are valid as of September 17, 2026; vibestarter.pro/pricing is the reference.

Once I have bought VibeStarter, what do I still have to pay?

Section titled “Once I have bought VibeStarter, what do I still have to pay?”

The app is a one-time purchase of €147 incl. VAT, lifetime access, updates included; it also gives you access to the website’s video training and to the members-only Discord. You also need access to a code AI: it is your account, with your provider, and Antigravity works with a free Google account, with no credit card. Asset generations are paid either with your own API keys or with VibeStarter credits. VibeStarter charges nothing else.

See What VibeStarter costs.

Is VibeStarter Plus mandatory? Does it replace my Claude subscription?

Section titled “Is VibeStarter Plus mandatory? Does it replace my Claude subscription?”

No to both questions. The subscription credits pay for asset generations (images, 3D models, music, sound effects) and never for the work of the agents that write your code. You can do without them by connecting your own Gemini, Meshy or ElevenLabs keys, except for splitting a model, which is only paid with credits. Plus and Pro offer the same features: only the amount of credits changes.

See The VibeStarter Plus and Pro subscription and AI credits, in practice.

Can I get a refund, and where is my invoice?

Section titled “Can I get a refund, and where is my invoice?”

For an invoice, write to support@vibestarter.pro with the e-mail address you used when you bought: your account lists your payments, not your invoices. For a refund within 14 days, open the Purchases and payments tab of your account area on the website and click Cancel and get a refund on the purchase concerned. For a Solo or Duo app purchase, the request is checked and carried out automatically; make it within 14 days of the original purchase: the date of the request counts, even if the processing happens later. For a purchase paid in full, the refund is total; for a purchase in installments, the planned process refunds the first installment collected and stops the following ones. Support reviews separately the cases where other installments have already been collected. The e-mails distinguish the request received, the stop of the installments and the confirmed refund.

For a Plus or Pro subscription or a credit pack, you can withdraw within 14 days after the first payment, with this same button: the unused part is refunded to you. Using everything and then withdrawing refunds nothing. Monthly renewals do not open a new period.

See Invoices and refunds and Withdraw within 14 days.

How does the affiliate program work, and how much do I earn?

Section titled “How does the affiliate program work, and how much do I earn?”

The program is open to adult customers, or emancipated minors, from their account area. It has ten tiers, from 30% to 75% commission; the scale shown on the website is the reference. A visitor who accepts tracking is attributed to you for 30 days after their click, and their price does not change.

See The affiliate program.

I am changing computers: do I have to buy again? How do I get my projects back?

Section titled “I am changing computers: do I have to buy again? How do I get my projects back?”

You do not buy anything again. Install the app on the new computer, sign in with the same e-mail address, and the project reappears in your list with the Open here button. Be careful: the online backup only carries the code — images, models and sounds stay on the old computer. A project has no folder you can copy from the file explorer: before you leave the old computer, export your assets and set aside an archive from Settings → Storage → Backups. One account is valid for two devices at the same time, and four different devices over 30 days.

See Switch computers.

Section titled “I do not receive the sign-in e-mail, or the link does not work.”

The link is valid for ten minutes, works only once, and must be opened on the computer to link. Requesting a new link invalidates all the previous ones: only the last one you received works. Also check your spam folder.

See I can’t sign in.

Does it work on Mac? What configuration do I need?

Section titled “Does it work on Mac? What configuration do I need?”

Windows 10 or 11, 64-bit, and Apple Silicon Mac on macOS 15 or later. There is no Intel Mac version, no Linux version and no Windows on ARM version. On the machine side: 6 GB of RAM at minimum, 16 GB to be comfortable, two cores at minimum, 5 GB of free space. On Windows, hardware virtualization must be turned on.

See Check that your computer is compatible.

I get a virtualization or hypervisor error when I start the app.

Section titled “I get a virtualization or hypervisor error when I start the app.”

On Windows, check the diagnosis in Settings → Application → VM acceleration. The app explains the result without enabling or configuring Windows for you. You can stay in Degraded mode (TCG): the agents, the editor and the sync remain available, slower, and the new Blender calculations are unavailable. View diagnosis opens the settings. The cross on the banner lets you hide it for good; the diagnosis stays accessible and you can show the banner again from the settings.

See The app does not start.

Which AI subscription should I get to start?

Section titled “Which AI subscription should I get to start?”

The agents run on your own account: Antigravity works with a free Google account, Claude Code requires a Claude Pro or Max subscription, Codex a ChatGPT Plus or Pro subscription, Grok Build an xAI offer, and OpenCode the provider of your choice. The prices and quotas are set by these providers and are checked on their websites. VibeStarter resells none of them.

See Which AI subscription to choose.

Claude or Codex? And which model, which effort level?

Section titled “Claude or Codex? And which model, which effort level?”

VibeStarter does not choose for you: there is no model selector in the app, the choice is made with the commands of the agent’s tool. Two concrete differences concern images: image generation with Codex requires a paid ChatGPT account, and Grok’s image tools require a compatible xAI offer. For code, all five agents can be used.

See Which AI subscription to choose.

Why does my quota run out so fast, and how do I make it last?

Section titled “Why does my quota run out so fast, and how do I make it last?”

The quota is the one of your AI provider, and the app does not show your balance: you check it with them. The habits that change everything: one task per agent, a conversation cleared between two tasks, no resuming a conversation that is several days old, no changing the model midway. What the terminal displays uses nothing.

See My agent does not respond, or my quota is draining.

How do I connect Claude, Codex or Antigravity?

Section titled “How do I connect Claude, Codex or Antigravity?”

Claude Code gives you a code to paste into Sign-in code. Codex and Grok Build go through a device code: for Codex, you must turn on Device code sign-in once in the security settings of ChatGPT. Antigravity connects from a Terminal tab, with the agy command. OpenCode manages its own connection.

See Connect your AI account.

How many agents can I run at the same time?

Section titled “How many agents can I run at the same time?”

As many as your RAM allows: 6 GB is the minimum accepted, between 8 and 15 GB several agents are cramped, 16 GB or more is comfortable. When memory runs short, the app sets some agents aside on its own with a “Paused — resumes automatically” badge: this is normal, they start again by themselves. The only real rule is not to put two agents on the same task.

See Launch and drive your agents.

How do I stop in the evening without losing anything?

Section titled “How do I stop in the evening without losing anything?”

Use Pause: the conversation of each agent is saved to your disk and resumes later, even after a computer restart. Stop interrupts everything and cannot be undone. Also remember to back up your place in Roblox Studio.

See Pause and resume a session.

I closed the app. How do I get my conversation back?

Section titled “I closed the app. How do I get my conversation back?”

When you return, the Paused session found banner offers to resume the session with the Resume session button, and the app checks that each agent has found its conversation again. An OpenCode agent may fail to find its own and start from scratch; the rest resumes where it stopped. If the session was stopped and not paused, it cannot be recovered.

See Pause and resume a session.

How do I get interfaces that do not look “AI”?

Section titled “How do I get interfaces that do not look “AI”?”

The agents receive specialized Roblox skills with your project, including one for interfaces: you do not have to invoke them, the agent uses them on its own. By default, each generated asset is presented to you for validation before it enters the game, and you can refuse it by explaining what is wrong. This is the topic customers come back to most: expect several back-and-forths rather than a single request.

See What your agents can do and Validate what the agent proposes to you.

The agent says it is not connected to Roblox Studio. What should I do?

Section titled “The agent says it is not connected to Roblox Studio. What should I do?”

Open a place in Studio: the VibeStarter Sync plugin attaches itself within a few seconds, and there is nothing to turn on in the Studio menus. If it never attaches, restart Roblox Studio — this is also the step to take after each VibeStarter update. If the message mentions the Studio channel, another program is using the reserved ports: close it.

See The connection to Roblox Studio does not work.

Why do my agents wait their turn for Studio?

Section titled “Why do my agents wait their turn for Studio?”

Only one agent drives a place at a time: this is intended, and the app says so. The others are not stopped for all that; they keep reading and writing code in the meantime. Splitting the tasks — one on the map, the others on the code — avoids the queue.

See What agents can do in Studio.

Can I import a Roblox game I have already started?

Section titled “Can I import a Roblox game I have already started?”

There is no button to import an existing project. The VibeStarter project template is written in TypeScript, compiled to Luau, with its own architecture: a game already written in Luau does not fit as it is. An agent can try the conversion, but it is slow and the result is not guaranteed. Starting again from the template and redoing the useful parts is often faster.

See The project template: finding your way around.

How do I publish an update without breaking the live version?

Section titled “How do I publish an update without breaking the live version?”

Publishing is still a step in Roblox Studio: File → Publish to Roblox, world by world. Writing code in the app puts nothing online. In the app, you save a release to keep track of what your players are playing, and maintenance mode pauses the sync while the operation runs — this is not a failure.

See Publish your game and track your versions.

Does my game have to belong to my account or to a group?

Section titled “Does my game have to belong to my account or to a group?”

Both work. What matters for VibeStarter is that the owner of the place is readable: link the place, open it in Studio, and publish it at least once. Without that, an asset may go to your personal account even though the place belongs to a group. The Open Cloud key of your personal account is enough, even for a group experience.

See Link your Roblox account and your Open Cloud key.

No. Blender is built into the application, with no installation and no extra cost: only the agent’s work is consumed. Agents can also search the asset bank before creating something, or build directly from Roblox parts. The method is set in the agent behavior settings: Automatic, Blender, or remote generation.

See 3D models.

The AI Studio makes the visuals, in 16:9 for thumbnails and 1:1 for icons. It accepts VibeStarter credits or a paid ChatGPT account: image generation is not included in the free ChatGPT plan. You can also enter your own Gemini key in the settings. Grok’s image tools require a compatible xAI offer.

See Icons and images and The AI Studio: create it yourself.

An exported model is capped at 20,000 triangles, per mesh and for the complete model. The first view you provide serves as the reference: the following views improve the back and the sides, but they do not make up for a bad first view. Splitting a model into parts costs more than generating the model itself, and it is only worth it if something must be animated.

See 3D models and Split a model to animate it.

How many thumbnails do I need, and how do I make good ones?

Section titled “How many thumbnails do I need, and how do I make good ones?”

VibeStarter makes the images; the number of thumbnails to publish and their performance are up to Roblox, and we have no verified figure to publish here. The formats, the placements and the content rules are described in the Roblox documentation. A Thumbnail pack, which will analyze your game’s niche and deliver 40 thumbnails, is planned, but it is not open to customers.

See Thumbnails — Coming soon.

Yes. The owner opens the Team panel, enters an e-mail address and clicks Invite; the invitee receives a link and the project appears in their list. There are two roles, Owner and Editor, and each person must have their own VibeStarter access. Only one person should drive the places in Studio, otherwise the two versions diverge. If the game belongs to a Roblox group, the owner of the project must be the owner of the group, and the order of the steps matters.

See Work with others on a project.

Why is my game restricted to ages 16 and up?

Section titled “Why is my game restricted to ages 16 and up?”

This is a Roblox rule, not a VibeStarter setting: the app does not touch the age settings of your experience. The conditions for widening the audience are set by Roblox and change regularly. Your Creator Dashboard and the Roblox documentation are the reference; we have no verified threshold to publish here.

How much should I spend on Roblox advertising, and for how long?

Section titled “How much should I spend on Roblox advertising, and for how long?”

Advertising is managed entirely in the Roblox dashboard, outside VibeStarter. We have no verified budget or duration to recommend: the formats, the goals and the rules are described in the Roblox documentation. What VibeStarter helps you with is the game, its images and its publication.

Where does my Robux go, and how do I convert it to euros?

Section titled “Where does my Robux go, and how do I convert it to euros?”

VibeStarter never touches your Robux: the Open Cloud key is used to create game passes and developer products, and nothing else. The conversion to real money goes through Roblox’s DevEx program: the threshold, the rate and the eligibility conditions are set and published by Roblox, and they change.

See Link your Roblox account and your Open Cloud key.

Where are the logs, and who do I report a bug to?

Section titled “Where are the logs, and who do I report a bug to?”

The logs are in %LOCALAPPDATA%\com.ert.vibe-starter\logs on Windows and in ~/Library/Logs/com.ert.vibe-starter on Mac. Retrieve them before you restart the app twice: each start overwrites the oldest one. A bug is reported in the signaler-un-bug channel of the members-only Discord; a payment, a cancellation or a refund is handled in your account area on the website, and a question about your account or an invoice goes to support@vibestarter.pro. The response time we announce is five business days.

See Find your logs and report a bug and Get help.
