What VibeStarter costs
VibeStarter is bought once. The website says so under the price: “Paid once. The app never turns into a subscription.” Two other expenses exist around it, and they do not go to the same place: the AI subscription you use to code, and the generation of your assets.
Three separate expenses
Section titled “Three separate expenses”The app: a one-time purchase
Section titled “The app: a one-time purchase”The full offer, called Solo on the offers page, costs €147 VAT incl. The badge shown is “One-time purchase”: access is for life, with all updates included.
The Duo offer costs €220 VAT incl. and gives two full accesses, both for life. You give the second one to the person of your choice from your account area on the website: see Buy the Duo offer and give the second access.
Both offers can be paid in full or in three installments with no fees, whichever you choose at checkout: 3 × €49 for Solo, 3 × €73.33 for Duo. The total is the same as the displayed price.
VibeStarter Plus gives credits to generate assets. It does not provide any coding AI. An account that has Plus without an AI subscription cannot have its agents work.
The agents’ work is paid by your AI subscription, not by your credits. Credits are only spent when an image, 3D model, music, or sound effect is generated.
Frequently asked questions
Section titled “Frequently asked questions”Is there a free trial or a demo? No. There is no trial version, no restricted access, and no limited period. The public Discord is the only free entry point: members there show the software live. See The VibeStarter Discord community.
Once I have paid the €147, what else do I have to pay? Your coding AI subscription, every month, to its provider. And, if you generate assets, either your own API keys or VibeStarter credits. Nothing else today: products per game, including Community for the wiki and the Discord, are not open yet.
Are the displayed prices VAT included? Yes, the suffix shown on the offers page is “VAT incl.”
And the services for my game? They are not part of the app purchase. What each one covers, and its opening status, are described in Services for your game.
If an overdue payment suspends your access
Section titled “If an overdue payment suspends your access”A declined installment ends the installment payment and suspends your access to the app; your account stays open on the website, where you pay the order’s balance in full to get access back. The steps are in Fix a declined payment and get your access back.
Stopping the upcoming installments of an installment purchase does not settle that purchase. If the payment is canceled while an amount remains due, access to the app is suspended, unless our team grants an exceptional deadline. At the end of that deadline, access is suspended if the situation has not been resolved. A fully paid purchase or an approved settlement keeps its access.
An overdue installment on the app purchase suspends your access, but does not stop your VibeStarter Plus or Pro AI subscriptions: they keep renewing as long as your card is accepted, and their credits can only be used once access is restored. You can cancel them from your account on the website, which stays open during the suspension. The same applies to the recipient of a Duo offer.
Canceling an AI subscription does not refund the periods already paid, and does not cancel the installments of the app purchase. A canceled subscription does not restart when your access to the app is restored.
