VibeStarter doesn’t sell the AI that writes your code. You subscribe to it with its publisher, at its price, on your own account, and your agents use **your** quota. This is the question customers ask most often, and the one that costs the most when you get it wrong: this page answers it directly.

## Two accounts, two bills

On the left, your AI subscription pays for your agents' work: reasoning, reading and writing code, testing the game. On the right, your VibeStarter AI credits pay for asset generation: images, 3D models, music, sound effects. Your credits never pay for your agents' reasoning. — Your AI account — Your AI subscription — Claude, ChatGPT, Grok, Google… — Your agents’ work — reasoning, reading and writing — code, testing the game — Your VibeStarter account — Your AI credits — VibeStarter subscription or packs — Asset generation — images, 3D models, — music, sound effects — your AI credits never pay for your agents’ reasoning

Your AI subscription pays for your agents' reasoning. Your VibeStarter credits pay for asset generation. Neither one replaces the other.

What this means in practice:

- **The VibeStarter subscription doesn’t replace your AI subscription.** It only covers what surrounds the code.
- **VibeStarter credits aren’t used for coding.** They pay for assets. The details are in [AI credits in practice](/en/offres/credits-ia/).
- **You can work without VibeStarter credits**, as long as you don’t request asset generation on our servers. You can’t work without an AI account.

## Choosing your provider

Prices, quotas and model names from these providers change often. This page doesn’t repeat them: check them on their websites, which are the reference.

| Agent | Where to subscribe and check |
| --- | --- |
| Claude Code | [claude.ai](https://claude.ai/) |
| Codex (OpenAI) | [chatgpt.com](https://chatgpt.com/) |
| Grok Build (xAI) | [x.ai](https://x.ai/) |
| Antigravity (Google) | [antigravity.google](https://antigravity.google/) |
| OpenCode | [opencode.ai](https://opencode.ai/) |

**The team’s advice, as of September 17, 2026.** If you only take one subscription, take Claude: it gives the best results on mapping, animation and effects, and it invents the least. Codex remains the strongest at understanding an error and fixing it. Since September 2026, OpenAI’s newest model leads on the quality of some tasks, but it uses noticeably more quota: for the same budget, the advice is still Claude.

**Without paying anything.** Antigravity offers a free daily agent use with a Google account, with no bank card, and Codex grants free quotas. Claude Code has no free plan. The team warns: with only the free plans, don’t count on finishing a game.

**To generate images.** Claude Code and OpenCode don’t have a built-in image tool: their images go through VibeStarter tools, so through your credits or through your own key. Codex, Grok Build and Antigravity draw with their own tool, on their account — Grok only if you have a compatible xAI plan. The details are in [Icons and images](/en/application/assets/icones-et-images/).

Model aggregators

The team advises against services that resell several models behind a single key: for the same spending, they give much less volume than a subscription taken directly from the publisher.

## Where to see your quota

Since June 29, 2026, VibeStarter no longer displays your provider’s remaining quota, to comply with the publishers’ terms of use. You can check your quota on your provider’s website or in its app.

## Making your quota last

The team published this guide on August 20, 2026. It still applies, with one update: you don’t choose the model in VibeStarter, but in the agent’s tool.

1. **One agent, one task.** Don’t put two agents on the same subject: they reread the same code, get in each other’s way, and you pay twice.
2. **Clear the context between tasks.** The `/clear` command starts over with an empty conversation. Running ten subjects in the same conversation makes it reread the whole history with every message.
3. **Don’t leave a conversation hanging.** Resuming a conversation from two days ago is expensive: all of its context is rebuilt. Finish the task, or start over with a clear instruction.
4. **Don’t change model in the middle of a conversation.** Each change makes the new model reread the history.
5. **Match the effort level to the task.** The `/model` and `/effort` commands belong to your agent’s tool, not to VibeStarter.
6. **Don’t switch accounts in the middle of a conversation.** Resuming a conversation from account A with account B uses up a lot of quota.

What uses no quota

What the agent shows in its terminal — the files it lists, the differences it displays — doesn’t cost any tokens. It can’t be turned off, and it isn’t the reason your quota is running out.

## Why the maximum effort level isn’t recommended

AI agent tools offer several levels of reasoning effort. The highest level uses much more quota, and the team sees no proportional gain on Roblox work. Their recommendation: an intermediate level with a first-tier plan, a high level with a top-tier plan, and not the maximum. An agent that thinks twice as long doesn’t produce an interface twice as good: what changes the result is a precise request and a test afterward.

## Why several agents don’t go several times faster

Running six agents doesn’t divide the time to build a map by six. The reason lies in Roblox Studio.

- **Only one agent drives a place at a time.** The first one to act takes the place; the others wait their turn. The app shows this as “Studio busy”, then “Waiting for a place”.
- **The turn is released by itself**, shortly after the last action of the agent that was working. You don’t have to do anything to free it up.
- **Only one test at a time per experience.** Two worlds of the same game can’t be played together. On the other hand, two different experiences can be tested at the same time.
- **Waiting doesn’t use any quota.** An agent waiting for Studio keeps working on what doesn’t require Studio: reading the code, writing it, preparing the next step.

What really saves time is splitting tasks that don’t compete for Studio: one agent on the interface, one on the game server, one on the map. How many agents your computer can handle is covered in [Running and driving your agents](/en/application/agents/lancer-et-piloter/).

## Limits

- **One account at a time per agent.** You can’t run two Claude subscriptions in parallel.
- **VibeStarter has no way to increase your quota**, or to tell you how much you have left.
- **The provider’s terms apply**, including age and country restrictions. VibeStarter doesn’t change them.

## Frequently asked questions

**“Once I’ve bought VibeStarter, what do I still have to pay for?”** An AI coding subscription, with the publisher of your choice. VibeStarter credits are optional and are used for assets. See [What VibeStarter costs](/en/offres/).

**“Does the VibeStarter subscription replace Claude?”** No. This is the most expensive mix-up: paying for the VibeStarter subscription without an AI account doesn’t make any agent work.

**“I use up my quota in ten minutes, is that normal?”** It’s a sign of a conversation that was never cleared, or of several agents on the same task. Go through the list above in order.

**“Why does it reset every few hours?”** Those are your provider’s quota windows, not a VibeStarter limit. Their duration and volume are described on its website.

**“Can I drive my agents from my phone?”** No. This feature was removed from the app in version 2.4.5 to comply with the providers’ terms. Older videos still show it.
